Analytic characteristics of red wine from the Canary Islands (Spain)

Abstract

This note presents the analysis of seventy-one red wines of the same vintage (90) from twenty different private wineries in the Tacoronte-Acentejo region, located on the northern slope of the island of Tenerife. This region has a basically Mediterranean climate, tempered by the mild, damp trade winds, and a volcanic soil, very rich in minerals and highly fertile.
